About Dr. Angela E. Grant

Her Christian Life

Remembering Dr. Angela E. Grant
November 12, 1973 – September 20, 2010

While a young elementary school student, Angela professed her belief in Christ and her love for Him. She became a member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Glendale, Ohio under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Richard L. Waldrop. While at Mt. Zion, she was blessed by the fellowship, the studies, and the support and encouragement from her church family. She became active with several youth ministries and grew to love, trust, and depend on the Lord more and more each day. She worshiped with other congregations as her studies and work obligations took her to other parts of the nation, but her first love was always Mt. Zion.

Whenever Angela relocated during her lifetime, she always made sure to find a church home in the area she resided. During her early college years, Angela faithfully attended Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Florida. After moving to the Washington, DC area, she regularly attended Mount Zion Baptist Church in Arlington, Virginia. She also actively participated in worship and Christian activities at Resurrection Baptist Church in Silver Springs, MD.
